New phone

When I try to buy a new phone for my account it gives the option to use my current account or have a new one. If I choose a new one does that mean that I will have a second number and second SIM card additionally to my current account ?

    Exactly. If you keep your current account, the phone will only be added to your account, meaning that you keep your actual SIM card/phone number and you put this actual SIM card in your new phone.

    If you open a new account, you will need to purchase a new SIM card and you will be given a new phone number, as you can't transfer a "Fizz" number to a Fizz account.
