Nothing works in the states even though I have a plan. Do I need a new Sim card?

Here is the procedure to follow in order to be able to contact the service. You can do it by opening the following link: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/status-services and simply scroll down until you see the green bubble, than click on it to start your chat session with the customer service.


    If the chat bubble still does not appear at the bottom of the page, on the right, after a few seconds, the number of pending sessions is higher than the service’s processing capacity. At that time, you can leave a message on the other proposed communication channels:

    If you have a CANADA + USA plan, make sure it has been activated. Go to your Fizz website, type PLAN - MANAGE. You should see here whether your plan is actived or not

    Make sure you still have data.

    Make sure data roaming is activated: Go to SETTINGS - CONNECTIONS - MOBILE NETWORKS and activate Roaming

    Choose your USA Roaming provider: Go to SETTINGS - CONNECTIONS - MOBILE NETWORKS and launch the networks search. Choose T-Mobile network.

    To make sure your settings are activated, put your phone in Airplane mode for 10 seconds, and remove Airplane mode.

    You should see codes LTE or R (for Roaming) in the top right of your phone status bar.
