short trip to the US

Hi, I just signed up for the Quebec/Canada plan. Next week I am going to the US for two days. I don't want to buy a travel add-on but just do pay as you go. If I want to make a call, can I just go on WhatsApp and dial and then I will be charged for data or do I have to do something else, apart from activating the roaming option? Thanks

    You need to ensure you have money in your wallet, and that roaming is enabled on your phone. Also, need to make sure that the APN settings are properly configured on your phone.

    Keep in mind that Data in the US is charged at $0.10/MB. If you plan to use more than 100MB, then you may as well get the 500GB for $10, but that is up to you.
