How to retrieve old sms?

Hi, please does anybody know how to retrieve old messages that I've erased a year ago for instance?

    Hi Wilfredo,

    if you have made a backup of your device at that time on services such as iTunes for Apple, or Google Drive for Android, you will be able to find them. Otherwise you will not be able to find these texts again.
