Problem with trying to activate my SIM while keeping the same number
I have a problem. I recently started the process to activate my SIM while keeping my current phone number. However, my current phone number is temporarily suspended so I can't receive the text from them to confirm my intention to keep the phone number while changing providers. Is there a way I can cancel the activation process and start it another time when I am able to receive texts on my phone from my current provider? Would I have to pay the monthly fee for my new Fizz mobile plan again if I do so? Any help would be much appreciated.

After 4 hours you can start again, however, the previous plan must be active. Therefore, you can reactivate the previous plan and after restart the transfer procedure when you want.
When you transfer your current phone number to Fizz, your line must still be active with your current/previous provider. We will disconnect your old provider during the activation process.

Sorry, could you clarify this further? Does this mean I can try to activate my phone again after 4 hours? I also mainly want to cancel my current activation request so I can unsuspend my account from my current provider. Thanks a lot btw for answering.
