Add-ons are being unused on trip

I am an original beta tester with Quebec coverage only.

Last trip I had to California I bought some some add-ons and everything worked great.

For my current trip to Vancouver I bought data, SMS and talk time.

I'm very concerned my data will be billed at some exorbitant rate seeing that no data or SMS are being used from my add-ons if I look at my client portal.

I was pulling data from the network fine but realized Incouldn't make calls because roaming was disabled. Why are my add-ons not working seeing as I can use data from what I would expected to be my add-on ?

What is going on ? Any help is appreciated.

    Hi J-F B.

Fizz is prepaid. There is no surprise billing afterwards. If you haven't already bought the service or have funds in your wallet to cover it, you won't be able to use those services.

When you are traveling outside of Quebec, be sure to enable the roaming option on your phone and sometimes restarting your phone can help connect to an available Fizz-EXT network.

Here is the Fizz guide regarding Travel: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/im-travelling-outside-my-coverage-zone-what-are-my-roaming-options

When buying Travel Add-Ons (Add-Ons are active immediately. They’re valid until the end of your next payment cycle): https://fizz.ca/en/faq/what-is-an-add-on-and-how-do-i-buy-one

Or you can also add funds to your wallet (Fizz account) for pay-as-you-go service:

If any issues, you can Live chat with Fizz support:

1- Connect to your Fizz account by clicking « Login » in the top right corner at fizz.ca

2- Any ad blockers in your browser should be disabled.

3- Open one of the help links mentioned above from Fizz Solution Hub.

4- The green chat bubble should appear after a few seconds in the bottom right corner.
