I had an appointment for internet install scheduled from 7:30 to 12 today and no one has arrived yet.
It is possible the technician is just running late. They can be 1 to 2 hours late for the appointment.
If no one comes today, you will be able to reschedule another appointment yourself from the account by going to My Plans >> Manage Plan >> Appointments. The 'Reschedule' button will appear there, once 24h passed since the appointment was due. You can then choose a new date and time that's best suited for you.
If you need to contact Fizz, you can contact customer support by chat:
1- Connect to your Fizz account by clicking « Login » in the top right corner at fizz.ca
2- Any ad blockers in your browser should be disabled.
3- Open a Fizz help page like this one: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/how-do-i-manage-appointment-technician-visit-my-service-address
4- The green chat bubble should appear after a few seconds in the bottom right corner.
maybe the technician was unable to fulfill is engagements due to the previous installation which would have taken longer than expected. Sorry but you'll have to reschedule a new appointment...
To reschedule your technician appointment:
*To reschedule or cancel on the same day as your appointment, you must do so via a member of our Customer Service team: simply log into your Fizz account and click on the chat bubble in the bottom right corner of this page during our business hours.
*You can reschedule your appointment up to three (3) times. If you try to reschedule a fourth time, your subscription will be automatically cancelled, and you’ll have to restart the process all over.
For any questions about that situation you can also directly contact Fizz’s customer service team for precise answers. You can do it by opening the following link: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/status-services and simply scroll down until you see the green bubble, than click on it to start your chat session with the customer service.
If the chat bubble still does not appear at the bottom of the page, on the right, after a few seconds, the number of pending sessions is higher than the service’s processing capacity. At that time, you can leave a message on the other proposed communication channels:
