Internet upgrade only comes into effect at next billing cycle
I had internet installed yesterday and the plan I selected was too slow. I upgraded on my account, but it apparently only comes into effect the next billing cycle. Customer service was pretty adamant that there is no way to make the switch sooner. Has anyone been successful in getting the upgrade immediately and being charged the prorated increase in fees to account for the remainder of their billing cycle? Thanks!!

Hi @KL3212
You discovered that there is no way to update it right away :(
Fizz is by the book and they not make exception. Sorry https://fizz.ca/en/faq/i-would-like-to-change-my-fizz-home-internet-plan-how-do-i-do-this
I don't see any way that you can have your speed upgraded before the next billing cycle.

Check with a speed test if you get the speed you paid for. If not, you have to check where is the problem before upgrading.
