Activating a BC number on Fizz network

I have been living in Quebec for 7 years now and been using my BC number no problem on any other network and it was considered as local to QC

For some reason when I try to activate my SIM and move my BC number it doesn't let me tell me there has been an error

Can I move my BC number to Fizz?

I am on PublicMobile BTW

At the moment, you cannot move a BC number to Fizz.

Unfortunately only numbers from the Fizz subscription area can be used with Fizz mobile.

"Note that we can only transfer mobile numbers coming from the province of Quebec or the Ottawa region. Your number must also be in the Fizz subscription area. If your number starts with an area code outside the subscription area, your number cannot be transferred to Fizz."
