Why I can’t receive gifts even tho I added add-on data?

You need to have purchased data (at least 1 GB) in your monthly plan to receive mobile data from another Fizz user.
You can send a data gift to:
- Any Fizz customer who is findable in Contacts and has a data plan
- A complete stranger, as long as they are findable and have a Fizz data plan
You cannot send a data gift to:
- People who are not Fizz members
- Fizz members with no data plan
- Fizz members who have designated themselves incognito

Fyi, you can receive gifts of Data Perks with any mobile plan.

In other words, data from add-ons or from free upgrades do not count.

Data needs to be part of your plan, not add-ons or bonus data, in order to receive data gifts.

Hello @Amer, in order to receive/gift data your regular monthly plan must include at least the 1GB option. My opinion here: Fizz has it set up this way so people cannot sign up without paying for any data and then access data only through data gifts and purchased data add-ons do not apply either. My suggestion is to change your plan to include at least 1GB data/mo. and then you can access data through gifts and data Perks.
