Hi,

simply unplugging it for the night, and you reconnect it when you know you may need it.

There is no setting in the modem to do so.

I suggest you use a programmable outlet timer.

Hello @zone , the only options are to use a programmable timer or manually unplug it as @Philemon24 and @Dapfizzer pointed out. Unplugging it has the advantage of eliminating phantom power consumption, the electricity that nearly all electronic devices still consume even when off.
