"Guest" wifi down when main wifi works well

Hello all,

My guest Wi-Fi which previously worked well went down today despite the normal “main” one working perfectly. This persisted for a while even after I turned-off/disconnected-cables/wait/restart to “reset” the modem. A while later, it just randomly started working again.


Does anyone have an explanation as to why this happened, what causes it, how to prevent this from recurring in the future and what to do to resolve it quickly if this happens again?

    Hello @XenuOne, I suggest you log in to your modem and check for any firmware updates and consider the age of your modem, is it dusty, etc. If it happens more than just once or twice consider it may have an electronics issue or a paranoid person might think someone has accessed the modem without your authorization, not likely but possible. Another method of contacting a Fizz team member is to log in, go to My Settings, Contact Form to open a Support Ticket. This exchange occurs over the email address registered on the account.
