Corrupted Fizz DNS?

Checking the domain name address with "nslookup avforums.com", I get 172.64.80.1

This is what I also found with "nslookup":

dns-lookup.com 172.64.80.1

dnslookup.online 172.64.80.1

nslookup.io 172.64.80.1

Do you get the same? Should I call Fizz support?

I have never used the DNS servers provided by any ISP. I don't find them as reliable as other available options.

I prefer to use the Cloudflare 1.1.1.1, and you also have those from Google: 8.8.8.8 et 8.8.4.4.

If you want, you also have those from Adguard DNS:

If you want more control of your DNS (including more blocking filters for custom categories (great for families with kids), you can also use OpenDNS which is Free for home use (and was bought out by Cisco).

I would not bother reporting it, I would simply just change DNS servers, directly on the mode/router and allow that to be given to your DHCP clients/PCs.

    Cheers and Happy Holidays.

    Hi Guy

I missing something, the DNS have a TTL, therefore, this will have a delay in the propagation if a change is done

Not all the DNS are updated at the same moment, they will update when the TTL is expired (TTL = Time To Live)

    Try this dig TYPE avforums.com
