1/2 Qs How do I know a text from Fizz is legit?

Hello,

I've recently received several texts from a 'Fizz', some of which are obvious scams but one came from the same alert that tells me I have a voicemail, and this one said "Welcome to Fizz" but i joined a few months ago. Is this a legitimate text?

Thanks

    Hello @LaKoko

Fizz text messages will not use anything else than "https://fizz.ca/..." for URLs.

In most of cases, it is generally not recommended to click on links received by SMS. If it is legitimate, just go online check what the message was about.

That said, it has been known that Fizz text messages are sent out of context because of bugs. This is rare and has been sometimes associated to messages like Welcome, Data Rollover, ... And again, you don't need to click it.

If you think a text message is fraudulent, simply delete it

If it comes from a knows Fizz number, it's probably a real number, though if it sends you a random text and has a link inside, I would probably not click on it just to be safe.
