Will it work? (talk only, no data, no text required) ...

I'm assuming the 1700 band will work on the Fizz network?

Its listed specs:

2G Bands SupportedGSM + GPRS 850/900/1800/1900

3G Bands SupportedWCDMA 850/1700/1900

    Hi Peter,

for a phone that only allows 3G or HSPA preferred:

    • Calls and / or mobile data: The phone must support the 1700/2100 MHz frequency (also called AWS).

I read that too, but does it need to be BOTH 1700 AND 2100 for simple calling?

I dunno, the Videotron site lists the Alcatel ONE TOUCH 768T as compatible and it's also GSM Quadband with 850/900/1800/1900 MHz. Sometimes I wish there was a human to talk to. I know it's he crappiest of crap phones, but its for someone that can barley use a landline :\ It's almost impossibel to find super basic phones in an actual store.
