Regular timeout/long replies on HTTP requests
Good day,
I'm in the Montreal area and have been having an intermittent issue (the best kind to try and fix π ) with my internet connection (120 down, 20 up). Mostly related to timings of some HTTPS responses.
Speedtests over the last 18hours show a close-to-perfect result:
But the HTTP response rate on the other hand is not quite the same... I often get timeouts or slow response from regular HTTP/HTTPS requests (see peaks and valleys on the graph):

Is any body else encountering this type of issue?

I've also encountered this sporadically as well. When it does occur, I generally reboot the modem and the issue gets resolved.
- Unplug the power cable on your Wi-Fi modem.
- Make sure all the lights on the modem are off once you have unplugged it.
- Wait ten (10) seconds.
- Plug your modem back into the electrical outlet. Expect about a three (3) minute delay to allow your devices to reconnect to the internet.
It does happen every once in a while. Unsure what causes it, but the quick reboot fixes it every time for me.
Good luck!

Yes your best chance is to unplug the router OR factory reset
