is it normal that a preloved phone has modifications on it

so i bought a preloved iphone se 2020 and plugged it in my computer with an app called 3u tools. the app tells me that the logic board (motherboard) has been changed. why would someone do that ? the battery has also been changed

    I personnaly avoid ''preloved'' phones. I'd rather get a brand new one

    you have no history: what happened to that phone, how many previous users, what king of misuses or torture the phone had to go thru, was the phone dropped, concealed malicious changed, etc..

    Iphone 12 is now $861 brand new (the mini is $4 off.)

    good android much cheaper & brand new. (except if you only consider 🍎as valuable brand)

    electronic devices tend to age tremendously fast. battery & OS version are the bottleneck.

    think twice.

    True that you will never be sure of the preloved phone battery status. No guarantee on that
