Internet working successfully but email notification says I missed my appt/account not activated.

I had my appointment scheduled this morning between 7:30-12pm, the technician arrived around 9:30 in the morning and was finished installing the modem around 10. He waited to make sure I could connect to the wifi, log onto fizz, change the wifi name/password, and connect again; it all worked smoothly. The internet has worked since then but my account says my internet plan activation is pending and I received an email saying I missed my appointment. Unsure where to go from here.

Wow, you got the royal treamtment :) I my case, tech came in, checked signal strength scanned bar code on modem to activate it, and handed me the box and told me to just follow the instructions on the box, and left :) I didn't honestly expect more, and had no problems luckily.

I'm sure many people posting that techs have not showed up to appontments would love to trade places with you also :)

Anyhow, Just to make sure things are clean, follow Dapfizzer's advice and contact customer service, just so they ensure your account in in proper order. Last thing you need is for them to think that your appointment was missed, and you decided you do not want to reschedule a new appintment and they refund you and close the plan.
