iMessage/Facetime

Just signed up to Fizz, bought one of the new iPhone 12 Mini. Set-up mostly successful, however iMessage and FaceTime will not activate.

I see that this was an issue with multiple users in 2018 but appears to have been resolved.

Are there others experiencing this? Is there a fix or explanation available?

    Hi,

    I use an iPhone too and I do not have any of these issues... If you want to communicate with the costumer service, this is the way to contact them by opening this link: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/status-services and simply scroll down until you see the green bubble, than click on it to start your chat session with the customer service.

    You can also do it on Facebook: https://facebook.com/fizzca.


    They'll surely be able to resolve the issue.

    I don't have any problems with my iPhone so far either. Can you give us some more information? Why would it not activate? What does it say?

    No idea why they won't activate, error messages are verbatim from the Apple support site, i.e. "Activation unsuccessful, please try again" or "An error occured during activation, please try again".

    No joy after 24 hrs., none of the fixes recommended by Apple support have worked, the only thing left is an SMS issue on the Fizz network end.

    Doesn't seem to be a widespread issue - fingers crossed customer support steps up with a fix/explanation.
