Payment options and cancelling my Home Internet

Options

Hi there,

I changed my card at the beginning of the month, and added it to my Fizz account. It looked like it was activated, but there was an extra button to push.

I then got a message saying to update my payment method or pay, and that I had 24 hours. I updated my payment method immediately. When it didn't seem to work at first, I switched from Firefox to Chrome, then noticed the extra button to push.

Then Fizz shut down my home internet a few minutes before a Zoom meeting (I'm literally a day or two late, and I remedied that immediately).

I then connected on my phone via LTE, and made the payment immediately despite the contradiction in instructions from Fizz.

I am here now 45 minutes later, still with no Internet. It's my last day before vacation. This is really bad as I work from home. I'm currently connected to my my phone with an ad-hoc wifi network.

I've rebooted my modem etc., it has not helped.

How long am I expected to wait for a simple error, that was compounded by your unclear web interface?

-Andrew

Best option is to contact customer support.

    * Sign into your account

    * Follow the link to this page: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/status-services

    * Wait 3 seconds for the green bubble with a '?' appears at the bottom right of the browser, if you use a phone you must use it in desktop or horizontal mode

    * Choose the option 💬 chat

    * If the green bubble does not appear make sure your ad blocker is disabled, otherwise try with another browser.

    Other means of contact

    Whatsapp: (438) 393-5814

By private message on Twitter: https://mobile.twitter.com/fizz_ca

By private message on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/fizzca/

CHAT however is the quickest method.

Unfortunately all the billing/activation systems are probably all automated. And therefore it is black or white, and nothing in between. And surely when an account falls behind, it triggers all sorts of automated events.
