My internet account got upgraded to 120 Mbps but speed test says rated speed around 40 Mbps.

    Have you power cycled the modem ?

    It will need to resync. And when is the speed change supposed to be effective ?

    Make sure your speed change took effect in your account.

    Reboot the Modem and see.
