inaccurate data consumption

Hi,

So this month my data consumption is way way off from reality. There's 100% something going on. Who should I talk to about this, and how ?

I've never ever went over my limit and now it's like 500mbs a day of data usage. Hotstop off, and my cell data usage shows like 50mb for the day (same as it's always been).

So something is definitely off.

Kinda pissed about it ;)

    After double checking everything on your phone (data consumption noted by your phone, etc.), I would consider doing a factory reset (if its android, maybe you have some sort of malware).

    How to check data usage on your phone:

    Android: Settings → Connections → Data usage → Mobile data usage

    iPhone: Settings → Cellular → Cellular data usage

    Data consumption is not 100% identical on your phone vs what Fizz register, but it shouldn't be 500mb difference...     I would check on the "location services" .You may have apps that are running in the background.

    In addition, I would reset my networking setting on my phone as well.
