Hi. I and my friend shared an apartment in Montreal and he subscribed to Fizz Home Internet Service. However, he has moved out recently and he did unsubscribe the service (which will be deactivated on July 31st, 2021). Because I have online coursework, I need my Internet not to be interrupted so I am trying to subscribe to Fizz Home Internet Service. However, the Fizz website said this:

I just want to know if there is any way I can subscribe so that my Home Internet will not be disrupted. Thanks.

    Non you cannot :(

You can always ask your friend to pay for couple of months and to close the contract when you can have a downtime of couples of weeks :<(

That is a well known problem. Your only option is to go with another provider since Fizz is not able to manage to have an order open for an address that is already connected.

You could also ask him to transfer the account ownership to you.
