unable to receive phone calls

Hi everyone,

Apologies if this has been posted before.

I have an issue whenever there's an incoming call.

I would receive this text message:

"Action required: Your current plan did not allow you to complete this call. Please by an Add-On"

I spoke with the support team last week and was assured that incoming calls are free and this error only exists if I tried to call out. So they made a ticket from m and this is the follow-up email:

"We have received information from our technical department about your request. It seems like you have been called by a number that did not entered the area code at the beginning of your number when calling, so that you did not received the calls. This is the reason for the add-on messages. My apologies on this matter."

However, it's still happening whenever someone calls me and the ticket is still open/ongoing since the 30th of June.

Is anyone experiencing the same issue? I'm on a 0 minutes call plan since there's almost no need for me to make any outgoing calls or else I'll have to keep buying Add-ons every month.

Thanks!

    Hi Nkanada

Sorry, but if you havé a plan with 0 minutes you canot receive the calls

If your plan does not contain any minutes, it will be impossible to receive calls on your phone.

Several options are available to you in My Account under ''Manage'' to fix the situation:

    • Buy an Add-on (you can then make and receive calls immediately)
    • Add funds to your wallet (you can then make and receive calls immediately)
    • Change your plan (any plan change will be effective starting at your next payment cycle)

    Hi Mike,

I was just chatting with one of the support and she has confirmed that I cannot receive calls without any voice option on my plan.

and thank you for verifying this.

    Have a nice day.
