Barely Functional Data in Extended Coverage Area
I am in an extended coverage area for work. Petawawa, ON. The data on my phone barely works. I can't use outlook or facebook messenger. I have 2-3 bars and yet the data on my phone seems non functional.
Does anyone know why service is so terrible here?

I believe that the wireless partner in Ontario is Rogers. So you should have the same network coverage as their customers.
Do you get NO data whatsoever, or only slow data?
Have you made sure you set your phone to allow Data When Roaming?

Also remember that there is a limit of time you can use your mobile service outside of Quebec (and Ottawa region). I believe after 90 consecutive days outside Fizz home coverage, data stops because the use agreement is to use Fizz locally. If that is the case, you need to use your phone in fizz region once every 89 days.
