Could I transfer my American number into a Canadian number, in order for it to be the same?

I currently have an American number, and I was wondering if it was possible for me to keep that number but have it linked to a fizz plan instead so i can keep the number but pay a Canadian plan. Is it possible?

Unfortunately "Only mobile numbers coming from the province of Quebec or the Ottawa region can be transferred"

But if you transfer to another Canadian mobile company that allows it, then you may be eligible to a future transfer. You must like Fizz very much to do so 🙃

Still, this would only work if you move to Quebec province or Ottawa, and your residential address be within the green area named Subscription Zone:

And the majority of your mobile usage must be in the green zone too.

Hi, I believe you might be able to transfer that number to a voip service and set an auto-forward rule or even a voip app on your mobile. Would cost you a few extra dollars a month (2-5 depending on usage).

I know voip.ms operates in the states so they might be able to do it. Check with them and if what they offer interests you, you can PM me and I could give you a referral code which would give us both a 10$ credit.
