    I don't know this specific product but it doesn't seem to support LTE so I doubt this will be nice to use with Fizz... Do you know if this device supports the dual-frequency 1700/2100 MHz (also called AWS or band 4) or 700 MHz?

    Technically, unlocked devices work... It's important to note that cheap device bought online from China or the U.S. are often not using the right frequency and won't work in Canada.

    A good alternative, if you can find an affordable LTE USB modem stick, is to buy a cheap phone and use it as a wifi hotspot (which will be even better since you will actually get FIZZ sms notification and also use the number to receive security code for different service if you need to (incoming sms are free).
