Sim Card Not Functioning

I called my cell phone provider and they said that most phones bought during the time I began my contract should be unlocked. I tried inserting my Sim Card into another phone today and it didn’t work. The Carrier Lock in the ‘About’ section on my iPhone says "No Sim Restrictions", Network continues to say "Not Available".

I am wondering if there might be anyway in which I may need to proceed with the "SM-DP+ Address" which is situated in the "Add Cellular Plan" section of my phone (which appears when you tap on ‘Cellular’ in settings). If I do need the "SM-DP+ Address", please let me know how to proceed. Thank you so much!

Either your phone, OR your sim card . One has problem. Borrow a phone from your friend or relatives. Try this way:

Easy, just try the sim in other know working phone. If it's working, then your phone is locked.

    OR

If it's not working neither, it means it's the sim card problem.
