Can I keep my Fizz phone number with another provider?

Fizz cut my line after being away for 3 months on Fizz Ext which left me with no choice but to switch providers. I want to keep my Fizz # and use it with the new provider I'm with. Is this possible with a deactivated account although I'm still subscribed to Fizz?

The account stays active. The only thing Fizz does is cut access to the partner network. You are still able to buy add-ons and the account stays active. So a transfer out should be possible. Once your phone number is transferred, the old Fizz account is closed.

If you switch the phone number to a new provider your Fizz plan will automaticly be desactivated. Why you want to keep Fizz if you can use it anymore ?

Yes, your new provider should easily be able to get your old number from Fizz without worry!

They didn't cut you. They just cut your roaming. Just port out number. Cmobile.ca plans has one month free for all Quebec numbers.
