Hi,

I'm moving into a new home which is NOT connected to any internet provider. I would need to know if a technician will connect my new home to the global network when I purchase a Fizz internet plan?

Thank you,

It is Fizz responsibility to bring the service to your place with the cabling, if they can.

You can check if your place is eligible through a simulation. Simply start the wizard at https://fizz.ca/internet-plan by clicking "Pick my plan", choose the one you'd like, and on the next page enter your address. It will tell you if it is possible without committing yourself to anything.

If not, chatting with a Fizz representative will give you an informed status about your place. To chat:

    1. Go to a FAQ page e.g. https://fizz.ca/en/faq/status-services
    2. Look bottom right for the big green question mark (?)
    3. Click it, a bubble will appear
    4. Note: the bubble will only display the chat for a computer version. If you are on a cell phone, you must check "Desktop site" in your browser settings.
    5. Submit your question with possibly a relevant screenshot or modem photo
    6. After that will be displayed the number of customers preceding you, to manage your expectations. Updated real time.

ALTERNATIVELY, try leaving a message on Facebook Messenger, iMessage or Twitter private. The advantages of their tool are the management of waiting times and the ability to print (e.g. PDF) a copy of the conversation for your records. Sometimes you can even leave a comment about your satisfaction with the conversation.
