Remote management menu for router CODA 4680

The administration menu of the CODA 4680 is missing the remote management tab to allow for remote access of the modem (probably fo security reasons). Is there a way to update the firmware so that I get this feature back or to activate remote management by any other mean.

I don't want to install another router through the IP passthrough to unable remote management of my network and security is not an issue.

This issue has been raised before but no definitive answer was provided.

I did try to reset but it only brings back the modem into its initial condition ( no firmware update). No firmware update seems to be available from the manufacturer anyway to replace the FIzz firmware.

The Fizz app only works if I'm on the same network as the router.

Using mine as bridge as well. I can’t provide more than @Idefizz. Honestly, I recommend everybody just to use it in bridge mode and buy a separate router. CODA Modems are notoriously unstable and face many issues.

Sorry I'm using mine as bridge, so here's some brainstorming ideas. And I presume this remote management is not reserved for the ISP's customer service.

• As for the access, can the Fizz App provide what you are looking for?

Same here i recommend to buy a good router and use the modem as a bridge its better in any way :)
