I recently bought a phone through fizz and I believe the points correspond to how much you spend on the phone.
So 10 points for every dollar you spend! It should be noted that the points will take a while for them to be added to the account after your purchase.

EDIT: It has come to my attention that it is not 10 points per dollar when buying a phone! It'll be around 3 points per dollar. Sorry for the confusion! I received around 1300 points for a 440$ purchase :)

Its not official but about 3 point per $. But please this is not official by Fizz its just information i get here on the forum from people who have buy a phone from Fizz. Have a nice day :)

Its weird but really nice if you receive as many point. You are the first who said they get 10 point per $. Maybe its depend on the phone model ?

I re-did the math, and it doesn't add up.
I think you're estimation sounds more reasonable, I jumped from level 1 to level 2 in one month without doing anything so I probably received around 1300-1400 points for a purchase of 440$ :)
