Can you you connect your home phone to the modem using a ethernet cable?

We would like to change plan to fizz, but we like to know if there's a jack on the back the modem (telephone jack) to connect the home phone to the internet. Something like the image below.

    Unfortunately, Fizz doesn't offer IP Phones services at the moment. However, there are multiple solutions magic jack, voip.ms (needs an SIP)...

    No Fizz dont offer ip phone. You can make it with another compagnie like magic jack. I use Fizz + magic jack on my side and its work fine. Have a nice day :)

    I understand Fizz does not offer IP phone services, but let's say I sign up with another company for VoIP, do I need an ATA (adapter) or does the Fizz modem act as the adapter?

    Hi @SimonB , you will need an adapter because, with what I've found, Fizz modem doesn't act as an ATA.
