as the title says I want to transfer my current provider to a fizz provider, but I can't seem to find an answer to whether this is possible or not, so is it possible to transfer my current # with a different provider to fizz if I don't already have a plan

Yes you can but keep your current serice up the transfert will automatiquely end your old subscription. Juste order/buy a Fizz sim and follow the instruction they will ask you what number you whant to transfert. Have a nice day:)

Yes you can, we did that also. We were with Videoton, we transferred the number, waited for the account with Fizz to be activated and then we called Videotron to cancel everything with them. It is supposed to be cancelled automatically but Videotron didn't do that. They saw that we transferred our number but cancelled our account following our call.

You can transfer your number as long as it is a Quebec or Ottawa number. You won't be able to port a 647 number fro instance.
