Sim not supported but phone unlocked...

Hi!, got my confirmation email for the transfer of my number. Got the text message from my previous carrier. So i should be good to go, but the sim dosent want to activate...
Updates and network settings. I also did the network re-setting. Message i get is sim not supported, which should point to a locked phone but I had this phone with many different carriers..
Any idea what blocking the sim?

Try to take the simcard back out, blow some air in the SIM card slot and on the simcard, reboot the phone, insert again and try.
Sometimes it really is just a connection problem.
If this doesn’t help, then the simcard could be faulty. You need to get a new one and contact support so that they refund you the money. If you are in Quebec, you can buy one at Couche Tard

Have you tried your sim card in another phone to see if it works? try it and let us know.

Thanks everybody, contacted my previous operator (public mobile) and it seems that they had locked the phone, i did not know that they could do that since i bought the phone from bell and it was previously unlocked. Everything works!!!!!
