Hi Glock
Sorry you are having this issue.
Are you using your own router with the Fizz modem? Or just the Fizz modem?
You can try changing the Firewall settings on the Fizz modem.
Logon to http://192.168.0.1/login.htm (users: cusadmin and your wifi password)
Go to menu "Security", "Firewall", change the Firewall level as desired
and Save your changes.
You may also contact Fizz support for help: https://fizz.ca/en/contact-us6 -
FYI It is true that you cannot edit your question, once someone has replied.
However you can reply to your original question if you want to add more info.6 -

I replied to the under questions, it is not easy to protect from the DDOS attack, without know which kind of attach are you talking
Sometime can be as easy to configure your firewall to drop all the request from specific ip ranges
Moreover, internet providers do not offer this kind of problems, if you run a server at home, probably you should think to take a server, VPS can be cheap, and usually the came at least with a 100Mbps up and down bandwith.6
