Coax Crimping - Installation

Hi,
I'm moving into an apartment that is fairly new and ran all the cabling to every unit to a panel in a closet. I scheduled a self-installation appointment, and realized the coax connector has never been crimped on the cabling.
Do I have to arrange for a VIP installation as a result of this? Does this mean cancelling the appointment and rebooking it? Or can the tech just charge me $30 the day of?

You do not need to run the cabling yourself. The good part is once you've done it, you can install the modem where you want it. The cabling from the outside line up to your modem is usually included in the free installation. So the crimping is included.
If you choose the $30 VIP installation, it includes unpacking and unwrapping of the modem and plugging it in to receive the updates to ensure it is ready to be used.

Hi Fizzy,
More specifically, the existing cable has never been terminated. There isn’t the coax connector with the thread running out of the wall. The coax sleeve needs to cut back and a connector crimped on.
Are the techs going to be able to do this as well?8 -

It is part of the free installation. The technicians do this all the time.

The same thing happened to me last summer and the technician took care of everything without charging any fees. He just needed to have access to the Videotron/Bell/HQ room, make sure you know where it is in your new building.6 -
Just ask to technician to take care of it. I don’t think you need to re schedule.3

Dont worry!
If the coaxial câble for your internet connexion need to be installed correctly in your appartment, it's included in the free installation with the technician.
Maybe, inform the customer service from Fizz by chat , that the day of your installation, the technician will need more time to install the coaxial câble.1
