Can't swap internet upgrades?

I have $1 rebate upgrade applied to my current month. Now I have a $2 rebate upgrade that I would like to apply. However in order to do so, I must remove the $1 rebate which will be pending removal until my next payment cycle which is also the same time I have to apply the $2 upgrade in order to come prior to the next payment cycle.
Why can't we just SWAP upgrades on internet when I can easily swap from a 250MB to 500MB upgrade on my mobile?

You should be able to swap them. Click on the $2 rebate to start the process, then select the shaking $1 rebate that is already applied and it will ask you if you want to confirm the switch/swap.

Do NOT remove the $1 rebate which is already applied. If you remove it, it will be pending removal. Then you will need to wait until after the next payment cycle to be able to apply the $2 rebate.
This is why seasoned users will suggest to apply your upgrades 3 days before your renewal (in case you reach a new level before your renewal).12 -
Yeah, it's one of the traps with Fizz, you cant just switch the upgrades, you need to wait to 3 days before renewal. I got caught by that this month. Now my bonus data is pending removal11

Me too I got stuck with a pending removal. I think Fizz should make the process of changing rebate easier and more straight forward. Or at least show a clear explanation of the process.12

We dot not have to remove our upgrade, just exchange it for another one.
You'll be obliged to wait the next billing cycle to apply the new upgrade.10 -
As others said, apply the new upgrade without removing the new one otherwise you will get stuck with the pending activation period.6

I wish Fizz would at least make the data bonuses accessible immediately, it doesn’t make sense that you have to wait until the next payment cycle....6

Yup, I agree with what others are saying here, if Fizz does review these forums, the bonus application/switch process leaves a lot to be desired2
