Phone number transfer

Hi,
I have a phone number with fongo that I would like to transfer to fizz. This phone number was previously used with another mobile carrier before I transferred it to fongo its not a phone line owned by fongo. Is there a way I can get back this phone number ?

Hi Benoit

You need to transfer to another mobile provider before porting to Fizz.
.
- Only mobile numbers coming from the province of Quebec or the Ottawa region can be transferred.
- It is currently impossible for us to transfer phone numbers that are associated with landlines and VOIP.

Sorry you cannot transfer directly to Fizz.

However if you transfer your number first to another mobile provider, it can then be transferred to Fizz.

Only numbers from the Fizz subscription area can be transferred to Fizz. If your number starts with an area code outside the subscription area, your number cannot be transferred.

You can only transfer Quebec numbers to Fizz for now.
Maybe keep the Fongo around for a while and get a new number from Fizz parallel

You would have to port it to a cell company first I think. Maybe try a cheap prepaid card provider ?

As other says, you need to transfer to another provider first and then transfer again to Fizz.

You cannot transfert directly to Fizz.
You can do it with another mobile provider.

But guys isn’t the problem that with Fongo, Benoit will have a non Quebec number? So even if he transfers it to another provider and then to Fizz, it won’t work?
