Hi Yun
If you are using Fizz home internet
Try to restart the modem
.
After 3 minutes try to use the phone internet browser, to check your connection
If it does not work, remove fizz wifi and reconfigure it from the phone
if you are not able to navigate, please tell us the led status
You can also contact customer support by chat
1- Click on this link: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/none-my-devices-can-access-internet-wi-fi-or-using-cable-how-do-i-fix-it
2- The green chat bubble with the ? should appear after a few seconds in the bottom right corner.
3- Click on it, and select chat if available, or any other option5 -
What's the problem exactly? Ideally if you cannot reply next time you should try to post your original question as well so others can help you5

No worries Yun. Once you select best answer you close the thread. Try to reset the modem, if it still persists try to contact support.
Can you access the internet via normal web browser ?5 -
Hello all!
Thank you!
I just wanted to confirm if it's wifi issue, I used Ethernet cable with my laptop and the modem to use wired internet, and my 'Windows' version Textnow. Still the SAME problem(Texting OK, Calling NOT)
So it's NOT the wifi problem.(I reset Modem already, didn't solve)

My original question is below (Sorry, I can't undo the 'Best Answer'):
I am using wifi with my Android phone.
I have phone apps(Textnow, Text me, Fongo) , all of them can't make and receive phone calls, either drops when dialing, or stuck when receiving calls.
Only text messaging are OK.
I am sure it's not the phone problem, because the texting is OK, and also not the apps' problem, because all 3 different apps have the same problem.6 -
Hello StefanM,
Thank you.
Everything including internet web browsing is perfect. Only phone apps callings don't work.6 -
Hi Yun
Sometime a factory reset can help this kind of strange problem, but you need to reconfigure your modem
did it work before?
If any changes have caused a problem, you can factory reset your modem at any time.
Using a thin, pointed object, hold the restart button on the Wi-Fi modem for 10+ seconds.
Once your modem has restarted, follow the same instructions as when you first installed it.
IMPORTANT: this operation will reset any changes that have been made to the settings of your Wi-Fi modem to date. You may also have to reconfigure the Wi-Fi settings of your devices (network name, password, etc. .)
The default username of your Wi-Fi network, as well as the corresponding password, are written on a sticker affixed to the back of your Wi-Fi modem (Default Wi-Fi network and Default key).
Or you can always contact the support by chat today the close at 10pm

So just to confirm Yun. You can access the internet via your phone without problems? Only the phone apps don’t work but other applications that require internet on your phone work?1
-
Thank all!
I have not done factory reset yet. I am afraid I would lose internet connection after it.
Will finish something important online first.
Here I emphasize it again:
1)My phone apps worked before.
2) Except this problem, EVERYTHING is working fine with my phone, internet and computer.1 -
The issue resolved by factory reset.
There is a problem:
The modem couldn't be reset by pushing the reset button for 10+seconds. It did restart but NO reset.
I had to install Fizz app to do factory reset by the app.0
