Will a Videotron locked ZTE wf721 phone hub work with a Fizz sim?

A buddy who lives out of town to easily test it, Just wondering if the locked to Videotron device will recognize fizz as native?

No it won’t because Fizz did not lock the phone. Only the company that locked it can unlock it. More info here: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/how-do-i-unlock-my-phone
A friend of mine had to go to videotron to have his phone unlocked. They did it free of charge though

I don't think so, but Videotron should be able to unlock it easily !
