Billing period starts one day before service setup?

The service agreement coming attached with the mail when requesting internet service starts one day before the technician set it up. Is this normal?

Yes, I guess it is normal, it was the same for me.
My service was installed on the 25th, my payment is due the 24th of each month.

Yes, it's normal
Fizz is a prepaid service.
And the monthly payment of our Fizz service is taken automatically by the Fizz billing system at noon the day before the end of our billing cycle.
For an example:
See the date of one of your Fizz invoice.
