How long does it take to make the switch from Vidéotron to fizz. And do I call myself to Vidéotron to cancel and when?

Are you talking about the residential internet?

Right now, it is 3 weeks

Select your plan and enter your address. If you are eligible, you can enter your payment information and select an installation date.
Choose your installation option, Free Self-Installation or VIP Installation ($ 30)

On the installation date, the technician will bring the Fizz modem and hook up the cabling into your home. You can consult the Fizz guide here: https://fizz.ca/en/internet/how-it-works

This is also a good time to join Fizz as they are giving $50 bonus credit to new customers

Once your Home Internet plan is activated, don’t forget to contact your previous provider to cancel your Internet subscription with them, and avoid paying double.

Are you talking about the Fizz residential internet service?
To get this service, you need to subscribe it online, apply a referral bonus to get 50$ after your second payment and fix an appointment for your installation with the technician.
When your Fizz internet connexion will be functionnal after the installation, you can cancel it to Videotron.
For the mobile, keep your actual plan active with Videotron.
You need to have a sim card from Fizz and activate it after and apply a referral bonus of a friend to get 50$ after your second payment.

It's not suppose to be long the moment you activate your phone number with fizz your account should be transferred from Videotron to fizz

It depends on the availabilities if you find only in a few weeks check daily as people miggt cancel and new time slots would be available for you to book
