Should I change the fizz modem if the building is switched to fibre?

I am a fizz internet user. Our building is planning to change the system to fibre. Should I change the modern? If yes how?

if you plan to stay with Fizz no, you do not need to switch modem.

What does building management tell you? Do you have a copy of the memo and can post it here? Before posting here in the public forum, please remove/block any personal info (including your address).

If your building will continue to have cable internet, then you can keep the same modem and keep using Fizz home internet.

As long as your building will keep on having cable internet you're fine. Fizz does not do fiber optic.

If you want to stay with Fizz for the internet, you are keeping your actual modem.
If you want to subscribe to Bell fibre internet, you will be obliged to cancel your Fizz plan and return the modem before 15 days later.
