Can technicians get Cable Room Access Codes?

I had an installation appointment on Sunday, and the tech couldn't get into the cable room to set it up, so I had to reschedule. What can I do for the next appointment? My building management says he should have the code.

I would think a Videotron technician would have access to the room.
Don't take chances, have the building management help you out with this next time the technician comes around.
