They are not the same company, both are owned by Quebecor
Fizz uses Vidéotron infrastructure.

Fizz parent company is Videotron, but they are two different entities. Just like Rogers has Fido and Chatter, Bell has Virgin and Lucky, Telus has Koodo and Public Mobile, Shaw has Freedom Mobile. You get my point

Same ownership (Quebecor), different target demographic and revenue base.
