Am I missing something? lots of the upgrades seem useless at higher levels.

I'm pretty sure you can only use 3 upgrade slots. So it seems a lot of the rewards from higher levels are useless (see red boxes in the picture).

Level 4 why would I need a $1 discount on internet if I already have 2$ off from level 2 which is better.

Level 10 both upgrades are useless since there is already better or equal upgrades from level 1-9

So I'm just wondering if there is something i am missing. is there a way to use more than 3 upgrades? or are these upgrades truly useless.

Yes you are right, however, remember that an upgrade has the validity of 2 years, therefore, the majority of the normal user, they do not unlock all of them in a couple of months.

If you are looking an upgrade with the 2 years in mind, they are a bit more logical.

For the phone you can also take into consideration that someone has multiple plans on his account.

Okay I guess that makes sense since they last 2 years from when they are unlocked.

Once the original ones expire you can then use the formally "useless" upgrades which have yet to expire.

The main idea is to be able to use another bonus when the first ones expire.

The older rewards will expire first. As we progress towards the 2 year expiry, the newer rewards can be used.

Also there are customers who have more than 1 mobile and/or multiple internet plans on the same account. So if one has 3 mobile plans and 9 upgrades, they can use them all.

As time goes on, it can also happen that Fizz will reissue duplicate of the upgrade rewards to you. At level 10, I have 15 mobile upgrades and 12 internet upgrades available in my account.

so you're saying if you have a second mobile you can use more than 3 upgrades then? interesting. though the $80 referral is probably better

Yes Christopher, you are correct.

Each plan has 3 slots for the upgrades applicable to that plan.

The referral credit is definitely a plus, but it is one-time and the usual amount is $25x2.
Everyone can to do the calculations to decide for them self. Also some people just prefer to have all their plans under one account.

Dont forget that each upgrade has a life of 24 months.
Upgrades received at higher level (later) will be interesting to use...

Christopher, I'm agry with you, I know upgrades are available for 2 years but if Fizz maintains this rule, a lot of people will loose almost everything. Not so many people are on the forum to cumulate points. If so, people will see rebate removed and then Fizz may not be so attractive. Fizz needs to rethink the upgrades and bonus

You are right but not totally useless because when one of your bonuses is expired you can activate another one. Only three perks at a time
