Does Fizz Phone have a carrier lock?

I found that phones on Fizz has a pretty competitive price. Does the phone comes with a carrier lock even I already have a plan at Fizz?

I believe Fizz phones are already unlocked, as the CRTC has mandated that every cellphone sold in Canada must be unlocked.

If there's anything you want to confirm with Fizz, you can Live chat with Fizz support from 8 AM to 9 PM every day:

1- Connect to your Fizz account by clicking « Login » in the top right corner at fizz.ca
2- Any ad blockers in your browser should be disabled.
3- Click on one of the help links from the Solution Hub, like this one: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/how-do-i-manage-my-fizz-account
4- The green chat bubble should appear after a few seconds in the bottom right corner.

Yushi, phones in Canada are indeed always sold unlocked. If you buy any phone and find out to be locked, the supplier you purchased it from has to unlock it free of charge.

Like mentioned, all phones in Canada needs to be unlocked. If it’s not, your phone supplier will unlock it for free.
