From what I understood, the contract lasts indefinitely until you opt out, as it's a BYOP kind of contract.12 -
it is a prepaid service so no contract you can cancel any time and as long as you keep your plan it will stay the same13

Fizz is prepaid, so the service is month-to-month. Here are the relevant points from the service agreement when you activate a mobile plan with Fizz.
15. Management of your plan and services
15.1. Changing your plan
You can change your monthly plan up to 48 hours before the end of your payment cycle. The changes will take effect with the next payment cycle.
15.2. Your right to terminate your Agreement
You may terminate your Agreement at any time by filling in a request to cancel your subscription in the My account section on our Website.
15.3. Our right to amend the contents of your Agreement
We may, at any time, amend your Agreement, including the price and nature of the service provided. We must notify you of any changes at least 30 days before the effective date, by notice dealing only with this subject.
15.4. Our right to terminate your Agreement
Before terminating your Agreement, we must give you at least 60 days’ notice.
