Im trying to level up and was wondering what were the best ways to do so

The best way is partecipating to the community, referring new customers, gifting data
Start giving kuodos you can give 20 kodos per day, for 1 pts each.
There are not legal way to level up fast.

Of course you have to be active on the forum, come every day. Give kudos, ask and answer questions, you will receive kudos, refer friends, give data to a friend etc.
But remember you have to come regularly.

Participation into this forum is the best way to level up. Having best answer is pretty good but really hard. I would rather recommend you to try to receive as many kudu as possible by answering quickly.14
